This study aimed to examine the effect of green tourism marketing on the environmental sustainability of destinations, considering the moderating role of tourists’ environmental sensitivity in the coastal and forest areas of Noor. In terms of purpose, the research was applied, and in terms of method, it was a descriptive-survey, cross-sectional study. The statistical population consisted of tourists visiting Noor’s beaches and forests, including the forest park, seashore, and Elimalat Lake. A sample of 384 participants was determined using Cochran’s formula for unlimited populations and selected through convenience sampling in high-traffic locations. Data were collected using a 15-item questionnaire with confirmed reliability (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.805). Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and SmartPLS software through SEM. The findings showed that green tourism marketing, with a coefficient of 0.668, and tourists’ environmental sensitivity, with a coefficient of 0.622, both had a positive and significant effect on destination environmental sustainability. Moreover, the moderating role of environmental sensitivity in the relationship between green marketing and sustainability was confirmed, with a coefficient of 0.540. Therefore, integrating green marketing strategies with efforts to enhance tourists’ environmental awareness and sensitivity plays a vital role in achieving the environmental sustainability of natural tourism destinations.
